Master Nelson: Empowered Through Tae Kwon Do

My name is Master Marci Nelson.  I am the owner of Empowered Spirit Tae Kwon Do.  I have been training in Tae Kwon Do for 24 years and I am currently a 5th Dan Black Belt. 

When I started Tae Kwon Do, I had no idea of the impact that it would have on my life.  Through my years of training, I learned to apply my teachings to my everyday life. I continued to notice how it was enhancing my life mentally, physically, and emotionally.

As I continued to develop as a martial artist, I also developed my passion for teaching.  This has become my biggest life investment.  My goal through teaching, is that I have made an impact in your life in a positive way.

Leading By Example

Here at Empowered Spirit Tae Kwon Do we take pride in creating an environment that encourages our students to not only train hard, but to lead by example. In doing this we have created a Leadership team of adults and students, who are dedicated to assisting Master Nelson with different aspects of the dojang. Also, we have a team of committed black belt students who, teach a variety of classes.

These students are representatives of the dojang and are devoted to helping other students achieve their goals of becoming the best martial artist they can be.
